In collaboration with Elissa Steamers surf and skate brand Gnarhunters, the Nike SB Dunk Low Gnarhunters features a all-black terry cloth and padded nylon construction with removable velcro Swooshes and bungee style cord laces. Gnarhunters taped tongue labels add a DIY feel to the design. From there, a black and light grey Zoom Air sole adds the finishing touch.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Gnarhunters released in March of 2022 and retailed for $120.
The Gnarhunters x Nike Dunk Low SB ‘Black’ represents the follow-up effort to the San Francisco-based skate and surf brand’s Blazer SB collaboration from 2019. Secured with bungee-cord laces and a convenient toggle, the blacked-out upper features beachfront materials, highlighted by a towel-inspired terry cloth base with textile twill overlays. Gnarhunters branding appears on the tongue and heel tab, while a removable Velcro Swoosh adorns the side panel. Underfoot, a solid white rubber outsole provides superior board feel.
