The Nike Space Hippie 02 Grey Crimson is one of four brand-new silhouettes launching as part of Nike’s Space Hippie collection. The capsule is crafted entirely from recycled fabrics and is part of the Oregon-based brand’s Move to Zero campaign, aiming to drastically reduce waste during production. The pack was set to launch alongside this year’s Olympic games, which have now been postponed due to COVID-19. The uppers of the sneaker are crafted from Flyknit for a low-weight and durable construction, while they form a sock-like shape to portray futuristic aesthetics. Taking on a grey-hued colorway, the pair also showcase a large orange Nike Swoosh logo across the lateral side for an in-your-face touch of branding. Pull tabs are located at the ankle and down the top of each shoe to make taking these on and off a breeze.
